Well some of you know we finally sold our house.The new one that we built a couple of years ago. The lady that bought it was a 92 yr. old and she is sassier then a box of hot tamales...you would never know she was that old. The first time i met her was on the day we closed, and she said, The lord is going to bless you for all your hard work some day, and Im just glad i get to be the recipent of your nice home. It was crazy how it all panned out, but at the end of the day, I am so glad she gets to live there. We didn't even put it up for SALE. Can you believe that? I got a phone call from a guy one day saying he heard we were going to sale it, and that he might be interested. Two weeks later i showed him the home and he said he was looking for his mother who would be moving here from CA. Two days later he put in a offer and three weeks later we closed. It was a cash offer so everything went super fast.

I have to say that I did cry. I cried for the gratitude that i felt that the Lord was blessing us to help us move on from this whole ordeal. I personally have learned so much through this, and although it has been rough, I never would have not wanted to go through it....I could have done without our last renters, but at the end of the day, I know the lord needed me to be humbled, and go through this long trial for a reason. So farewell to the home on 1390N. you are now only a memory.................

ok so some of you know i tend to get a little personal sometimes while writing on this blog, and some people have even commented on how they would never go into that much personal info for others to read, but i guess i am an open book. Today i am writing this because i feel a little down. Not in a bad way, I really mean things are going well, but i just can't seem to get out of a little slump i am in. This time of year is just hard on me and i am not sure why....I guess i am a sun girl, and it has been SO cold. Our renters are moving out of our house today, and you would think i would be jumping for joy, but i am tired of living a life i so call the "gospel" life, but yet i talk negativly about them to others, and honestly i told him that i don't care to see him ever again....RUDE right..but it did feel a little good to get off my chest. But why can't i live the gospel principles more fully...and this isn't a shout out for sympathy, its just a honest question. We are taught everyday to love those that despise us, pray for those that do evil unto us...and not be judgemental. Our renters are not my only problem too. Sometimes i feel like my intentions are good, but they come across the wrong way. Or i am judgemental.....which is sad, and i need to work on that. I guess the thing that is great about the gospel is that we have repentance 24/7. I know i need to let the atonement work more fully in my life, but some days it is hard to want to be reared up and ready to go do great things EVERYDAY....does anyone else feel that way? Well enough about that. But the quote above sums it up best for me today, that i need to get back on course and try harder to finish what i have started. We had a girl named Courtney come and talk to our Relief Society last night....She has a famous blog called c jane and she is sisters with Stephanie Nielson who was in the plane crash. She told us that several people have been very mean and cruel and told her to not blog anymore, but she does it because of her talent to write. She is not getting off her course because someone made fun of her, or doesn't like her. She just trys hard to be herself. That is what i need to work on. Loving myself for me, not for my faults like i mentioned above....I know over time things will change and i will probably even feel better tomorrow because it is a different day, who knows. but thanks for reading this lame post, and i hope it helps if you have ever felt the same

So a few of my friends have taken their kids to the bean museum in the last couple of days, so i decided i too would join the fun and take Boston there. It was actually really fun for him. The only other time i have been there is when he was just little, and of course he does not remember it at all..But can i just say, it stinks bad in there. Im not sure if it is just a combination of old dusty animals, and an old building, or all the people inside too....there were so many school kids there. But Bostons favorite part....................the gift shop of course. That is all he wanted to do was play with the toys there... But overall a good fun day with my little buddy.

Me and Golds are good friends...In the last 8 year i have been going there (off and on) i have given them lots and lots of money, and of course for good reasons, too lose weight right??? Well i have been going pretty much everyday, and things are good, except Im still not losing weight, one small problem.....I do feel better, and I am getting stronger, and i have said a little prayer telling H.F. that i need help losing weight,,so while i still wait, i only still have one problem....why are my tatas still so big........seriously...you know you have a problem when your son, who is almost three can put your bra cup on his head and it is still BIG.......WOW is all i can say

So until H.F. comes through for me, i will still wait, and while i wait, i guess i will shake what my mama gave me.....

Missing Her

So today i am missing her.. Her birthday was a couple of days ago, and i know some of you will remember my post about her last year...But my grandpa came for dinner today and all i can say is that he is amazing.. I can't imagine losing my sweetheart at such a young age...She was so gentle, so loving and so tenderhearted...I want to strive to be more like her. I feel like life is too short to focus on the negative things, that is why i have been thinking so much about her. She just lived life to the fullest.. I guess i always feel bad for my grandpa around this time of year, but i know she is near, that is what helps me when i feel this way. A couple of days ago i had to go to the er..i thought i had a kidney stone...but i didn't. but i while laid there waiting to find out what the heck my problem was, she came to my mind...and how she must of felt to find out she had cancer...go to through radiation, and not have it be successful...and also being reminded of her withering body, and watching her body slowly fail her.. My everyday trials seem so minimal to what i have seen others go through...or still are going through. So today i missed her, and i have a thought of her throughout the holidays....

Some of these pictures may fool you...he look so sweet in them, but man oh man he sure knows how to work over his mom and dad.....hahahah...Just Kidding.. He is a really good little boy. I have a good friend that i met from work that took these and she did an amazing job....I just keep looking at these going, " Wow little Boss man is already 2 1/2, Where does the time go?" He did a really good job that day getting his pictures....when we got home I said to him, "Boston thanks for being such a good boy today you did so good getting your pictures done, I love you so much," and as soon as I leaned over to give him a kiss, he said "I love you too, now where my new train set." Yep, he thinks he needs something new from the grocery store everyday....and to make matters worse, every commerical that comes on in the morning has so many new toys all the time, and he'll yell really loud and say I want that mom, I want that....even if it is my little pony set.....crazy kid....but i love him SO much...

ARIZONA.....i miss you already

This is the Arizona Flag...this post is a good idea of what i did while i was there...I had my camera but did not have batteries for it and the little disk...duh, im such a moron...but i had the BEST time there.........The weather was perfect. I loved being there...This is mostly for me to remember the fun trip.... This is who i went to see...ABBY. She is one of the most amazing people you will ever meet...She is so considerate, and pure FUN...we laugh, laugh, laughed the whole time....We were never companions on the mission, but we should have been...

We went and saw this movie...My One and Only..it is kinda a indy film, but if you have the chance I highly recommend it...Renee Zellwiger did a great job..

One day we went the Scottsdell Mall...It is amazing..Could thing im poor, because i could have spent alot of money there...and i mean ALOT.....

This is the Chandler Mall...also great stores. We went there three times...not once, not twice, but three times...count them.

This is the reason we went back three times...its not like we don't have a nordies at home, but while i was there Abby convinced me I needed a new BRA...and PS i love it...

Also we went to Anthropology, twice....i got a shirt orginally, but hated it on, so i settled for this below...the cute new hair accessory...out of everything in the store, this.....im crazy but i loved it.and it is perfect for winter...

We ate ate ate and ate some more..here is a few places we went.....so yummy.......all of them. And the Neilsens....WOW what can i say, we also went there twice.....

This was the best pizza place ever....They have such good stuff there...man we miss out on alot here, and it only seems like we get new restraunts after like two years that they have been somewhere else already....

I seriously came back cold...to cold weather that is...I love you Abby!!!!! THanks for such a fun time...it was the perfect getaway..and i totally needed it. I also was excited to Jill and Joel, and Jessica.....so fun

Summe Fun part 2...well overdue

A few weeks ago we headed up to Park City for the day....IT was slammed...there were so many people up there...We wanted to ride the new coaster they have, but Boston isn't quite old enough.. so we went down the slide...he loved it...here he is waiting in line...it was hot so he got a snowie for waiting so patiently..

He thought he was so big doing it by himself....he was mad he didn't really get to do it by himself when we got up there

This was at the Zoo..i was so bummed, my camera had something on the lens so all the pictures were blurry.But we had so much fun there with some of my mission friends and there kids.....

This is kind of a random shot, but my dad rides his bike everyday so when he is in the garage getting ready, Boss loves to pretend he is going too....This is my helmet, but my Dad just got him his own and he LOVES it.

A few weeks ago also we went and hiked to Timp Cave...It was so much fun...This is a picture of my Grandpa will all the kids....It was so pretty up there...

Boss just Hanging out on the Rock...He had it easy going up..I carried him on my back the whole time.....

Also these pictures are well overdue, but this was at James and Annalees Baby Blessing for JJ..He is so sweet...This is us just all hanging out at the park..it was a neat day.

Boss LOVED the cake..he also loves his cousins..he had a fun day....

And this is JJ...so sweet...he was a perfect gem through the blessing...so excited for another one for these guys... I can't wait for another one like this......Im not announcing anything by the way, just hoping for another one SOON......

It has been another fun summer...many activites and family time, which i love. Yesterday on my morning walk the air was a little cooler and I can feel fall in the air...i love summer but love fall as well.........Good times for sure

Another Year Older

Sorry this is going to be a boring post, but this is how Im feeling today......
Today Im 29 years old...today..in the last year i have successfully done the following
-Finish a home
-Live in it for 6 months
-Helped my husband get through losing his job
-Moved out of our new home, and into a rental
-Played bunco with some of the funniest woman out there...( ps Im in two groups, call me crazy, but I can't get enough of them)
-Still working at alphagraphics, I didn't think i would still be there, but IM SO GRATEFUL i have a job.
-Trying to make new friends in our new ward
-Watched my husband have 10+ interviews and not land any of those jobs
-Celebrated with him when he got a new JOB
-Have FHE every monday night minus a few during the year..( this is a fav of mine)
-Go to Jackson Hole with my Fam.
-Watch Boston go from being a little Boy to A BIG BOY...sad
-Watch my grandpa cope with out his wife by his side...I MISS HER. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA CALL
-Try to lose weight...hahah still trying
-Having fun with my parents living with us.
-Got a road bike, but only riding it a few times..
-Seeing some of my favorite people get married..(wishing it was my bro or brother in law)
-Going from Stressed out to semi stress.... :)
-Finding happiness from the inside out.
-Going V.T.ing to the sweetest Spanish lady ever.
-RELYing on the lord more fully
-Going from Brown back to BLONDE...because they have more fun and my hubby loves it more.
-Having a LATE nighter with my Girlfriends from H.S. missed Sarah, Lacy, Christa and Jaime
-Paying off more then debt then my eyes can handle....YIPPEE
-watching people around me have hard times....I wish I could take it all away....because I love you
-Become a fan of FACEBOOK, Im obsessed
-Watched and had the best parties with my- in laws side of the fam and celebrating my inlaws 40th wedding anniversary.
-went another year without seeing my friend ABBY...but going soon (I PROMISE)
-did not hit the slopes, but this year is a must..
-Watched Jason get his Masters Degree...great feeling for both of us
-Watch boston go down the Alpine slide for the first time
-Have a brother and sister in law...GIVE IT TO US STRAIGHT...love you
-went to the zoo with friends from the mission
-read and still reading about what happy people know......LOVE THIS
-had my best friend finally have a little boy

I know more things will come to my mind, but in all this year i have felt pain, love, exhiliration, sadness, happiness, and joy.
It is amazing how fast a year can go, and although it has been a year of unthinkable things that have happened, I know that Im still the same old VAL. Just a girl who wishes she was a true blonde (so I dont have roots) had funds to helps people around her, who loves to laugh and giggle just like i was back in high school talking about the boys we liked., and helping those old grammies that come in and get their copies made and there whole job costs 5.00 at the most, but they are there for 40 mins telling me their life story....OH wait i already am doing that .one...hahaha
It is exciting to see what will happen this new year...maybe a another baby, maybe a wedding for my bro, maybe more heartache, whatever it is I say, BRING IT ON. The Lord works in mysterious ways...I guess you never know what is around the corner......your birthday corner..

A few weeks ago we were able to go down to St. George to spend time with grandma Bev.....She is still so active at age 83. We had so much and so did the kids. We went to the new Pirates Island down there and the kids were in Heaven. I can't wait for the one in orem to open...so fun We also hit the pool. It was like a 108 the whole time we were down there, but i love the heat. Call me crazy, but it just felt good to relax and bask in the sun.

We also went to a mid town movie night....The movie was super lame, but the kids had fun....and we all know that if the kids are happy we are happy.....

We also had so much fun at this park over in bloomington. It is a huge playground, but then a water park at the same time. The kids LOVED this....

Also i am reading this really great book called "What Happy People Know". I highly recommend this book...I am not a big reader but my parents gave this to Jason for Christmas so he can use it in his profession..It is just uplifting and has helped me to see that Happiness can come in many different ways....I feel like I am a Happy person for the most part, but it has given me an insight on how others view happiness......

Our friend Kevin Winzeler is an amazing photographer...So this week he went and helped Jason do some Art Therapy were Jason works......He taught the boys about Photography, and snapped some good shots of them.....I thought this one was funny of Jason so i decided to post it....I hate that lame shirt he is wearing, but oh well. Graduation and Our Little Boston....

This was a great day all around...Jason Graduated!!!!!!! He still has to finish all of his internship hours which will put him until Sept...then he can take the state test...He got his masters in Professional Counselling...which is great for me I have a full time listener and guidance councellor...I love it... His graduation was at the E center and it was packed to the brim...the people that talked were great, but the people sitting behind us were NOT.....oh well...

And this is what we came out to find after graduation....someone hit our car....little basties....But the sad thing was, is that someone got the license plate number of the person, but when the police ran it through their system, it did not match the car description. Needless to say we are getting the car fixed asap.

And here is our monster.....I mean our loving little boy Boston....Lately when i take his picture he is not so Happy about it..Little Stinker...He loves that dumb bib though...He always wants to put it on, and then on the back as well for his "Cape"

We have been trying to get him potty trained but he is still having a hard time....I think he might still be a little to young....He wants to wear the undies, but never makes it to the potty. I couldn't resist this picture though...

Ok so we are leaving the parking lot and we see this......the coolest bus ever...the man that is the owner had the biggest beard ever, and you know he has a way interesting life....i really wanted to talk to him, but jas said no......i mean this bus must have taken years to complete...but man oh man, he loves God......but can you blame him?

Many of you know this is my BFF Christa....we have been friends since 11th grade....that is over 10 years now....to some you may be saying...wow big deal...but for me it is quite the opposite...Sometimes I wonder why SHE is still friends with me....Christa is unique to say the least....She is always putting other peoples needs first instead of her own....She truly is one of my favorite people...

She is so talented, and is such a great mom...I guess the reason Im posting this post is becasue I have had so much stress in the last year of my life that sometimes i think i have forgotten about the people who care the most about me and my feelings. I have been thinking lately about the things or things going on around me that make me happy....On saturday i was reminded by Christa how truly blessed I am.....I mean I have a wonderful husband, a sweet little boy and a great family....what could be more important then family......nothing in my book....but also great friends...I was able to spend time with christa and reflect on all the wonderful things that I have going on in my life right now....I feel that all my friends from high school were so great....We just had so so so much fun....I feel blessed to know all the good things that they have taught me, and have always loved me for me.........I just felt it was time to thank all my friends......

Well I hope you think this cake is as cute as I do...I have such a cute and talented friend named Nancy who does all sorts of great cakes and stuff.....so i had her do this cake for my Dad's Birthday. If any of you know him, you will know that he is totally into the outdoors and we grew up going rafting every summer....this was the perfect treat for him...I loved it...also Nancy has a really cute blog of all the amazing stuff she has done....it is goingfrosted.blogspot.com...Thanks Nancy.....

Ok so this post is a little late, but you know me...im crazy busy lately, so I am finally getting my act together, and posting about Boston's 2nd Birthday....I have a two year old.....crazy I know. He is just getting so big. And he totally has a little temper too...It's just all of a sudden the terrible two's are in full force...that little stinker. If i didn't love him just so much.........So the above pic is of his invites.. We had a little circus theme and it was so fun...

Boston loved every minute of it.

He had Jason's, Dad's cousin come and do some fun tricks for the kids. He is a magician, and so he did so many fun things for the kids....they all loved it.

He did this cool thing with this bottle. It has water in and then this penny would move up and down as he moved his finger around in the bottle....total talent!

And then of course he was the total man at doing animal balloons, and all the kids went crazy for those. This guy travels all over the world to do his magic...Isn't that cool.....

This is boston sticking his head out of the catchers mit...I work next to partyland so i got this hugh bean bag toss thing, that was of a baseball player. IT was a lot of fun

And of course Boss man loved all his fun new toys....Overall it was a great day...He had so much fun and we are just so lucky to have this little boy in our Family....he really is what life is all about........we just love him....

Lame post right? It is just lunch time, and I don't really have anything to post about....but everyday i mostly bring salad to work, and all my coworkers hate me because i use balsamic vinigerette salad dressing, and they tell me it smells like a skunk....but it really is so good......
I want to eat these nachos....don't they look so good................

But instead I will eat this salad.......it is a much healthier meal.....

This is more or less a journal entry for me. I know that people will read this and really I don't care, because some of you that will read this are truly some of my favorite people. So i am not embarressed to share this post at all....This year has been one of heartache, pain and honestly so LONG. I know that the Lord does not give us things that we can not handle, but I just wanted a break. Does anyone else feel that way? Our break came on christmas night. Jason got a job...finally. It has been a long process, one of which i never hope we have to go through again. He will be working at Telos. It is a residential center for boys. He was already there doing art therapy, but now he is going to be a mentor. He is a perfect fit for their company and I know he will be able to help render these kids in the right direction. I think the biggest thing I have learned in this process is that even if you get a right answer in your prayers, it is ok to have bad things happen along the way. We prayed long and hard about our decision to build a house this year, but I could have never anticipated the outcome of having a husband lose his job two months after moving into it, and having another house not sell.....and then going three months without a steady income. Im so grateful for my job though. I do know the Lord saw fit for me to come back to work, and honestly now i know why.This year we also lost my grandma. She was an amazing woman, that i can only hope to be half as great as she is. I can't wait to see her again. Although we are still "stuggling" as you could say, i finally feel that we are getting back on track. Not only with finances, job security, but most importantly my MARRIAGE. When you are being tried and tested in ways you never thought possible, there is only a handful of people that you can rely on....The Lord, Jesus Christ, your spouse, and family. My marriage is awesome don't get me wrong, but i think that in this time in my life and in the past few months we have had to become stronger as a couple and a family for little boston. It is so easy to say things like "what if, " or "why me, " but honestly why not me. Some of my friends are suffering in there own way, so what makes me any better then they, that i don't have to have trials or hardships... I guess the reason i have felt bad is because our process has been so long. Im ready to "get back" to the REAL val. Im ready to give service to those around me. Im ready to look past my flaws and remember to see myself as though Christ sees me. Im ready to lose weight...lol. Im ready to be a MOM and help Boston to become the person that he wants to become. I guess in a nutshell all im really wanting to say is 2009 i know will be a great year. I would never take back the things i have gone through, because now i feel like i can accomplish anything at this point. I know the Lord loves me, and has molded me into the person he wants me to become. I really do LOVE my life. I love my husband and the things that he teaches me. Boston too!! He is my little Rock. I hope that this new year brings much joy to all of you. Thanks for reading......

This thanksgiving was so fun..We had dinner at Jason's parents house and it was so fun to just have a nice dinner and to relax. We didn't make it up to my parents so we were sad about that, but it was a great dinner and fun times. This time of year is especially great for me. I get a little emotional about how we have grown this year and the things we have had to go through, but the trials were are all worth it. There is nothing better then to be with family and enjoy the true meaning of the holiday spirit. I hope everyone had a GREAT day.....

There have been so many pictures i have wanted to post lately so, sorry this is so random, but i need to document alll the fun/crazy things that are going on with my little jun bug through the last couple of months..I have neglected to write all about him......but here are some pictures of him lately.......
ok so some of you might think i am the worse mom when you see this pic above, but not to long ago i was getting ready for a church meeting and Boston was playing on the couch...He likes to climb up on top of the couch and sprawl out....right when i turned to corner to come out of my room, i saw his little feet go right over the couch....the couch backs up to the hardwood floor(well it did, it no longer does) and well he got the biggest bump on his little head....this picture does not give it justice, but I had to document Bostons first little mishap......im the worst mom

ok so we went from here, to the new house, which i don't have a picture of.......and now we are almost homeless...We decided to put the new house on the market because the twin home was not selling..at the same time as we got renters for the twin home, we had a lady from California come look at the new house, and she totally wanted it....so needless to say, we have to be out in two weeks...that is right two weeks....I have been ok with this decision...well for the most part...im sad to leave some of our neighbors, but at the same time i fell blessed that we have found someone else who will have great memories in the new house...it was not an easy decision either....Jason has also applied for a new position in Draper with a company so getting up north is not such a bad idea either...with the market the way it has been...we could have been alot worse. I know that this is a challenging time for us, but i have faith it will all work itself out...i just wish we had more time to look for a place..If anyone has any ideas....i would love to hear them....or if you know of anybody...that would be great.

Ok so, last sunday we had a little kid in our primary class say to another little girl in our class, "Say it, don't spray it." Me and Jason of course were trying hard not to laugh, but honestly that is so old school... I couldn't figure out who he had heard that from....obviously someone older....so when we got home, we started to think of funny saying that we use to say in elementary, and junior high school.......Like"Syck"....who says that......no one any more of course....Ok so this is where you come in...TELL me the funny things that you use to say to your friends, or family....

Here is my cute hubby learning the ropes of surfing....he did so awesome...with just a few minor crashes. It was his birthday when we were down there to, and he loved every minute of it....

No one got hurt, it only rained a little bit, and the water was glass.......the entire time.....We can't wait to go again....(hint,hint). So here's to you Captain........and other wonderful friends for the best summer trip yet.....Hopefully many more to come.......
ps....we did not take our favorite little man Boston.....of course we were sad to leave him...but he did bond alot with gradma and grandpa Biggerstaff......thanks again for watching him...

The Most Amazing Woman Ever...

My sweet, sweet, grandma returned back to our heavenly father on Monday night...she was seriously the greatest lady ever.... and still very young....She got cancer in Feb. and we all had such great hopes that she would beat it......she needed a bone marrow transplant, but she was not a good canidate for it, therefore, it slowly killed her...As hard as it was to see her suffer, I know now that she is where she needs to be, and what a great reunion she is having with her parents, and her son Andy....and all her ansestors for that matter. One day right before the 4th of July i was able to see her. She got nominated for Mother of the Year award for West Bountiful City, and she won..on the 4th she was suppose to ride in the parade, but because she was so sick, all of kids and grandkids got to ride in it.....It has been a hard couple of months, but i know that she is in a better place, and definately much happier. I just can't help but feel a little selfish, becuase I wish she could still be here....I love her so much, but I am so grateful for the gospel , to help us through these hard times....

Jason's parents got a new dog, which of course is Boston's new best friend. He doesn't even know i exist, or that I am his mom for that matter when we are over at their house......his main concern when we get to there is to find the dog, so he to, can act like the dog.... So many of you know that we have been building a house down in Ptown, right bye where we are now...We love all of our neighbors, and love our little neighborhood, but when some lots became available we jumped on it......This is a picture of me when we first decided to go ahead with it....Now not really being a contractor or knowing anything about construction i was so excited and so ready to be a GENERAL.

So our house is completed and we are so super excited to be done.....it had taken us nine months to build this, and this is our big accomplishment for the year 2007....It was so long and tiring,,,handsdown it was kinda like being pregnant...very long.
Needless to say, this is how i feel now....I am so tired... It is been and overwhelming and such a crazy time for us......BUT we feel so blessed to be where we are, with so many great friends..I will post some new picts of the new house because some of you keep asking...but it might me a while..

I need time to recoop...How do people do this??????? We do feel so blessed, and we are very excited. Thanks to all of you who have helped...It is nice to know that i have such good friends...

Ok so my little sweet nephew Parks is seriously the cutest little boy, next to Boston of course...but he is totally in for a rude awakening.......when he gets a new brother or sister...Im so excited for my sister Katie, well really im just glad that someone else in the family is pregnant so that the pressure is off me...........But also i just wanted to tell me sister how great she really is...I have always looked up to her. She is a great MOM, and so very talented...any of you who know her, would definately agree..... This month is friend month, well i think it is, at least it was on one of Oprah's tv shows, and in O magazine.......But Katie really is my Best Friend and I can tell her any thing....and for that I love her. TODAY WAS A HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, NO GOOD, ROTTEN DAY.....does anyone else have these days....i feel like a mad woman...
Let me give you a run down of today in the life of Valerie....
Got up, cleaned the house the usual ritual of the day, got Bostone ready, and then we got a call from Jenny, that she was sick and could not watch Boston for me.
Next step call Katie, it works out great, she can watch him......Drop him to Katie, ten minutes later, He pooped all over the car seat and himself, Sorry Katie.
Next work was a complete disaster, one mess after another...Thanks Audra and Cori.....
Get Boston from my mom because Katie had to drop him off then go to a meeting at four, but because i was running late as usual she had to take him to my moms.Thanks mom
Get Boston home, poop all over again....what is wrong with my child....by the way, all over the back....we then missed dinner with some friends...sorry friends.
Next pay some bills...yikes why do we have to????????
Then on the computer checking our bank account, i have fees on there i don't were they are coming from...but the bank is closed, can't find out till tomorrow.....Stupid bank
Then computer crashes, go borrow jeremy's laptop, thanks Jeremy
Then i smell my child again......what the crap is he eating...oh thats right...crap. Coulr it get any worse...im just not sure...i thought if i posted something nothing is bad to go wrong till i go to sleep..........well and now im off.............i hope all of your days are not as crazy and hectic as mine...some day soon i think i will bask in the sun with a pina kolda and think of being on fun cruise...till then, it back to the grind.....thank you for all who read this boring post.....

ok so any of you that knows my good friend Ashlee Berge, now Gardner, she has a dog named Shadow....I don't know what kind of dog it is, and i have only seen it a few times, but I know that every time i get together with some of my high school friends we still talk about Ashlee's dog Shadow.......she calls him shads......
Well the reason this is so funny is because i have a new shadow.......his name is Boston.....do you ever feel like you have an extra Shadow.......Boston goes wherever i go, whether it is to the bathroom, up the stairs for like two seconds, in the kitchen, he is my best little friend, just like Ash's dog shadow is her best friend, Bostons is mine......

ok so i went to dinner with my BFF Lacy and she said or well asked me why i have not yet done what she had asked me to as far as being tagged...i told her i had one once before, but well here i am again......so I guess i will be post six crazy, interesting things about me.....

1- my friend jess that you all know gave me a nickname in high school,,,,,there is a little story behind the nickname which i don't want to bore you with because most of you that remotely care about my blog already know, but she calls me VALCOR.....i know doesn't it sound so hardcore....she asked me a couple of days ago if was ok is she still called me that.....and well actually I love it.........it reminds me of the good old high school days......on Jess's blog it still says valcor under her friends blogs......and well i love that nickname

2- I love the movie Goonies,,,,, i mean seriously who still loves that show after like 15 years, well me....i just had a hugh crush on Mikey...who didn't????????

3- Ok i honestly might get a bad "rap" for posting this, but i still love RAP music. I know I know you are probably thinking who still listens to rap music especially now that it has become worse and worse....i should say that i still listen to the same old crap from high school...what can i say i miss those days....i am feeling a little bit like this tag is becoming a tribute to my HighSchool days but its not i promise....But i can't help but love to listen to MC Hammer, Boys to Men,,,not bad rap but super old school......every once in awhile 50 cent.....i know i will get over it soon...

4- ok new thought lately i have been thinking about is i hate tomatoes....but i have been eating alot more green salads and such, and i actually bit into one a couple of days ago, and well it wasn't bad...i think i might have liked it.....im growing up isn't that great.

5-I have also lately taken up sewing with my sister, well i mean let me refase that, she sews and i watch.......or cut our patters, or iron stuff on, but i still am learning all the ropes of sewing....my sister had a class in high school so she is super good, me on the other hand, not so good, but geting better......

6- ok last thing is and i guess this is the craziest as of lately is we are building a house. Yes me and Jason, well i mean me....i am the general and he gives me his ok if he likes something....what in the heck was i thinking when i thought that building a house by ourselves would not be that bad.......well it is stressing me out to the max......i call all the subcontractors, i boss them around, i get my shoes muddy three times a day, and yesterday I counted four gray hairs in my head.....yes four....but i still have to remember that the end result is the best, and best decision for our family.......so just call me Valcor Contractor Clawson

OK so sorry to leave you hanging on all our crazy pictures. We went to a fun party with some of our neighbors and we had a blast. There is a great place called Noah's and you can rent out rooms and just party it up all night. So as you can see me and Jason were Marge and Homer Simpson......i know lame, but we are all about the quick easy costumes. Me and some of my girlfriends went to Gardner Village for Witches night out.... We had so much fun. There was so many fabulous witches up there. Some put us to shame... But the best part of the night was the shopping. There was so much stuff that was on sale, and such great things to look at. We even participated in the witch march. Who has more friends? i like to think we have many friends scattered everywhere, but Jas does know a lot of people...

Who is more sensitive? Im really sensitive. I just want to make sure all is good with all my friends and family. Jas is very sensitive to others as well.

Who has more siblings? Jas, he has two sisters and four brothers

Who wears the pants in the family? I like to think we both do, sometimes i can be a little bossy, something im working on..... :)

Three weeks ago we got back from newport beach with 5 other couples....We had so so so much fun... The weather was perfect and the beach was beautiful.... We were one house away from the beach....totally perfect...All the friends we went with were so fun and we played so great games. The kids all did well except for little Boston.......one word Teething.... he did alright but man our little guy has some lungs. He is just so full of energy, and loves to scream. He sounds like a little girl, and his daddy does not appreciate that..... :) The vacation was just perfect timing and we had so much fun.......

ok so everyone on the boardwalk had a beach cruiser, thanks to our friends they brought theirs from home......but the reason this picture is so funny is because honestly look at the DOG stroller....Are you kidding me.....what is the purpose of going on a walk with your dog, if the dog sits and is being pushed on the walk...what has our world come to......a dog stroller.

So this is us on our way down to New Port Beach. We stayed one night with my grandma and uncle Dave. We had a fun night with them, but man were we ready to hit the beach......yeah

Easy Recipes

So i just wanted to share a few recipes that are really easy and good.

First is homemade calzones

Take 3 thawed rhode rolls dough and put them together and roll them out as much as you can.
Then take your pizza sauce and lay it down on the dough
Next you can put anything in it you want! Ham, pineapple, pepperoni, any veggies.
Chesse also!!!! Then fold over the calzone and put it in the oven for 25mins on 375.
It is super easy, and yummy.

Next is taco soup which I'm sure many of you know, but one of my favorites and husbands go crazy over it.

1 can corn
1 can pinto beans
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 can green chilis
1/2 packet of ranch (powder form)
1/2 packet of taco seasoning
Beef or chicken is really good in it
Let sit in crock pot for 2 to 3 hours and serve.....To die for!!!!!!!
